Agilent Named One of Singapore’s Best Employers

Company rises in rank from last year

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that Agilent Singapore has been recognized as one of Singapore’s Best Employers in 2021 for the second year-in-a-row by The Straits Times, a leading Singapore-based newspaper. Specifically, Agilent is ranked among the top 100 companies and fifth out of eight in the Drugs & Biotechnology category.

“This year, Agilent Singapore is among the top 100 positions compared to our 108^th ranking last year, so we’ve continued to excel—even during COVID,” said Woai-Sheng Chow, Agilent Singapore Vice President and General Manager, Global Instrument Manufacturing. “We are enormously proud of our employees.”

Rankings were determined on the results of an extensive independent survey conducted by the newspaper and Statista, a global research firm. The survey included more than 9,000 employees working at companies with more than 200 people. Employees were consulted anonymously through several online panels and through The Straits Times website. In total, more than 200,000 recommendations were evaluated, based on two distinct criteria. The first was a “direct recommendation,” an employee’s willingness to recommend their company to friends and family. The second was an “indirect recommendation,” an employee’s evaluation of other employers in their respective industries.
