“Nursing is the backbone of acute care in U.S. health systems,” said Patrick T. “I am thrilled to be joining Press Ganey to advance the company’s strong commitment to nursing excellence,” said Doucette. “I have developed my expertise in nursing care practice, policy, excellence, and well-being by engaging with all levels and disciplines of the patient care team. This approach has allowed me to create high-performing work cultures where each team member is valued as an integral contributor, while creating a safe, reliable, and patient-centered experience. My passion for developing the next generation of nursing leaders is coupled with my desire to improve health, reduce suffering, and create innovative and sustainable improvement across the health care continuum.”
