NEW YORK--()--So you think you can sell? If you love fashion and are a dynamic and compelling advocate for brands you love, it’s time to turn that passion into a profession. ShopShops, a leading livestream shopping app, announces today a search for the country’s best salesperson, opening up the call for more hosts to join the growing platform. In addition to the cash prize, the winner will be offered a starring role on ShopShops where they can monetize their selling ability through regular livestreams from their favorite stores and boutiques.

“We are so excited to find ShopShops’ next star host,” says Liyia Wu, founder and CEO of ShopShops. “In China where livestream shopping is very common, our live hosts are mega celebrities. People trust their opinion and purchase what they say. We believe live sellers will be the new mega influencers in the U.S. as live shopping continues to really take off here.”

Sell Me This White T-Shirt

Entrants need to show off their sales skills by creating a 30-second video “selling” a basic white T-shirt. The final winner will be selected by ShopShops founder and CEO Liyia Wu, garnering a grand prize of $10,000 and an offer for a one-year contract as a starring host on ShopShops. The most successful full-time ShopShops’ hosts can make up to $20,000 a month.

Judging criteria will be based on originality, creativity, style, number of votes from ShopShops Instagram audience, and adherence to the rules and spirit of the Contest. The contest opens today and goes through February 25, 2021. Entrants must be 18+ years old and live in the United States. Valid entries must tag @shopshops_official, use #nextbigshopshops and entrants must follow @shopshops_official on Instagram.
