New site to support the scaling of machine learning technology, adding board development, operations, infrastructure, and system applications job opportunities

The investment in the new site will bolster the company’s engineering and operations team, opening up new in-region job opportunities for board development, operations, infrastructure, and system application roles. The growth beyond Silicon Valley and Serbia will give SiMa.ai a solid foundation with engineering talent in India to jump-start the productization of SiMa.ai’s MLSoC™ platform, while scaling the team for next-generation product development.

Krishna Rangasayee, founder and CEO of SiMa.ai, who has over 30 years of experience in scaling new businesses in the semiconductor industry said, “The embedded edge market is ripe for disruption and machine learning has moved from nice to have to must-have. A silicon designer by training, Vuruputoor brings tremendous experience in building and scaling silicon design teams. Previously, he started, built, and scaled India development centers for On Semiconductor and Aptina and held senior engineering leader positions at Nvidia, AMD, and Analog Devices. Mitra will drive the software development strategy at SiMa.ai. Previously, he was at Mercedes Benz India, where he was instrumental in establishing Centers of Excellence (CoE) for data engineering and leading teams of computer vision and high-definition mapping for highly automated driving.
