Republix Acquires U.S. Software Engineering Firm SourceStrike

Republix Establishes Hub in California with Best-in-Class Offering of Custom Apps and Tech Platforms for Clients, Plans Further Expansion Across U.S.

TORONTO--()--Republix, a new marketing technology company that unites top-tier agencies to clients, and clients to predictable results, today announces the acquisition of California-based SourceStrike, a professional software engineering firm that develops custom applications for its clients. Founded by master engineers Brandon Friend, Adam Johnson and Rob Darvania, SourceStrike’s team hails from some of the hottest startups in Silicon Valley with a mission to democratize access to elite engineering talent for its clients.

The acquisition of SourceStrike establishes the foundation for Republix’ planned hub in California, and greater expansion across the U.S. The company recently announced the acquisition of six digital marketing agencies, and the development of its “Growth as a Service” technology platform, which will allow clients to tap into resources seamlessly, so they have the right people and strategy to drive growth.

“We created Republix to unite a rapidly evolving yet fragmented service-oriented marketing industry by connecting businesses with the perfect combination of people, processes and technology,” says Thomas Le Maguer, Co-Founder and CEO, Republix. “With SourceStrike, not only will we be able to offer our clients some of the best software engineers in the industry, we will also rapidly accelerate the development of our Growth as a Service technology platform for clients across North America.”

The group of agencies within Republix, called Citizens, will also have access to SourceStrike’s expertise to scale their own operations via technology to better serve their clients. Republix is actively seeking other California-based organizations to join its rapidly growing team. Unlike holding companies, Citizens are run independently and are free to manage their people, culture and business as they always have, but now have access to more significant support, shared services, and operational guidance.

“Being a part of the Republix family allows us to take bold risks to accomplish our growth roadmap by drawing upon a larger pool of resources, and better serve our clients with a more diverse offering,” says Brandon Friend, Chief Executive Officer, SourceStrike. “We will also be able to return the favor to our Citizens by sharing things we have learned along our own journey so that collectively we can thrive and scale faster than before.”

By consolidating the fragmented digital marketing and advertising industry, Republix offers agencies and clients an opportunity to:

  • Leverage Technology: Based on a company’s business objectives, Republix’ Growth as a Service platform will pick the best growth strategy for a business, protect their marketing investment and produce measurable outcomes with accountability.
  • Redefine Procedures: Republix will use its collective expertise to identify gaps and empower its Citizens to orchestrate their people, processes, and technology optimally.
  • Shed Limitations: Citizens are part of an ecosystem of seamless collaboration. They can tap into resources beyond their core competencies to expand their offerings.
  • Free Up Time: Republix will handle agency operations to focus on what they do best while maximizing client results.
