Jackie Roberts to Lead HPC’s ESG Offering & Mariska Richards Begins as General Counsel

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hunter Point Capital, the independent investment firm focused on middle-market alternative asset managers, announced today that it has engaged industry veteran Jackie Roberts to spearhead the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) offering. Richards began her career at Skadden, Arps Slate, Meagher & Flom in the firm’s corporate practice.

“I am delighted to welcome both Jackie and Mariska to the Hunter Point Capital team,” remarked Avi Kalichstein, CEO of Hunter Point Capital. “Jackie’s extensive experience and understanding of the ESG space will be essential as we look to create value for our investors and to offer advice and guidance to our future portfolio companies. These appointments are the first in a series of key additions to our team that will propel HPC’s growth and success this year.”

Roberts said, “Having known members of the HPC senior leadership team for many years, I am excited to work with them on this new venture. Hunter Point Capital’s commitment to sustainability is a core tenet of their strategic value offering and I look forward to working with them to drive understanding and adoption of best-in-class ESG principles across the firm’s portfolio investments.”

Roberts earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and a Masters in Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
