Hunter Point Capital Appoints Bill Sonneborn President and Chief Operating Officer

Michael Arpey Promoted to Vice Chairman

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hunter Point Capital (“HPC”), a leading independent investment firm providing capital solutions and strategic support to alternative asset managers, today welcomed William Sonneborn, who joined as President and Chief Operating Officer. The new role is designed to help HPC’s leadership expand its business, extend the same high level of service to a growing base of investors and clients, and enhance the organization’s ability to operate efficiently at greater scale. In conjunction with Sonneborn’s joining, Mike Arpey has been promoted to Vice Chairman.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Sonneborn will work closely with HPC’s senior leadership team to advance the firm’s strategic and operational priorities. Sonneborn brings more than three decades of experience in alternative investments, asset management, and financial services. He has held leadership positions at Generate Capital, International Finance Corporation, EIG, and KKR, where, among other things, he served on the nine-member management committee. Earlier in his career, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of TCW Group and held roles at Goldman Sachs in New York and Hong Kong.
