PEAK6 Adds Andrew McGuire to Co-Lead Technology-Driven Insurance Operation

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PEAK6, an investing and technology company, announced today that Andrew McGuire has been named Managing Director to co-lead an insurance operations effort with Deb Franklin. McGuire is a recognized leader in the insurance industry and brings more than 25 years of experience to PEAK6.

As Managing Director, McGuire will leverage his expertise building personal, small business and commercial lines insurance organizations to establish a new operation within PEAK6. He will report to PEAK6 Partner George Ruhana and focus on building and implementing new processes to capture growth opportunities within the insurance industry that incorporate world-class technology.

McGuire brings deep risk management and reinsurance expertise to this new role. Prior to PEAK6, McGuire served as an Executive Vice President at National General Insurance. His long career in the insurance industry spans disciplines including claims, sales, underwriting, product, pricing and information technology. He has held leadership positions at Firemans Fund Insurance Company, Zurich Insurance and Allstate Insurance. He began his career at Safeco Insurance.
