PEAK6 Adds Insurance Industry Executive Deb Franklin to Build Insurance Operation

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PEAK6, an investing and technology company, announced today that Deb Franklin has been named Managing Director. In this new role, she will lead efforts to build an insurance operation.

Franklin is an experienced executive with an impressive track record of building and growing sustainable businesses. As Managing Director, Franklin will combine her entrepreneurial spirit and insurance industry expertise, including extensive flood insurance experience, to develop a new insurance operation within PEAK6. She will report to PEAK6 Partner George Ruhana and work with senior executives across the firm and its portfolio companies to identify opportunities to build and scale insurance capabilities.

Franklin possesses deep expertise in driving sales and profits through the management of diverse independent agency networks. Her sales success can be attributed to her cross-functional leadership experience in claims, product development, distribution analytics, operations and relationship management in her previous roles with leading insurers, including State Farm, Allstate, Universal North America and National General Insurance.
