Biocom Calls for Nominations for the Fifth Annual Life Science Catalyst Awards

Awards Open to San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area Nominees

SAN DIEGO--()--Biocom, the association representing the California life science industry, today announced a call for entries for the fifth annual Life Science Catalyst Awards from the Bay Area, San Diego and Los Angeles regions. Each of the three regions will have its own separate nomination and judging process. The awards are designed to identify accomplished and up-and-coming academics, entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders and business advisers who are making their mark on the life science industry before reaching their 40th birthday.

“This year, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the crucial role the life science industry plays in responding to and combating this ongoing public health crisis,” said Joe Panetta, president and CEO of Biocom. “The Life Science Catalyst Awards are a chance to celebrate the young leaders in our industry who are helping advance measures against the virus, as well as those who are sparking meaningful change in the field – fueling the ongoing growth in California’s largest hotbeds of innovation.”

Nominations for the award will be accepted until November 5, 2020. Honorees will be highlighted in the cover feature of the Biocom LifeLines magazine and celebrated at the virtual Biocom Annual Dinner. The Life Science Catalyst Award will honor standouts from:
