About the Clarify Medical Home Phototherapy System

Clarify Medical, an early commercial stage, venture-backed company, is scaling a revolutionary home light therapy platform used for the treatment of chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis, vitiligo, and eczema (affecting over 40 million people in the U.S.). As the first at-home, connected phototherapy treatment platform, Clarify empowers patients to better manage and self-deliver care.

Clarify vastly improves the treatment experience for patients with these skin conditions through a connected, handheld narrowband UVB phototherapy treatment device that automatically manages patient-specific dosing, frequency, and duration of therapy through a smartphone application and Clarify’s proprietary software. The Clarify platform enables all stakeholders to monitor treatment adherence, progress, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Patients receive “always on” care support by Clarify CarePartners, who guide patients to drive treatment adherence, improve efficacy, and enhance long-term health outcomes.

The platform, which is the first of its kind, has received FDA 510(k) clearance, ACHC accreditation, and is reimbursed by Medicare and a number of private insurance carriers.
