Tara Bing Joins NorthStar Life Services as Director of Client Services

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NorthStar Life Services, LLC, a full-service life settlement advisory firm that assists institutional and private investors with each stage of the life settlement investment cycle, has named industry veteran Tara Bing as director of client services.

Bing has worked in the life settlement industry for nearly 17 years, most recently as a client services manager and director of operations at AVS Group, LLC. In her new role at NorthStar, she will be involved with key service areas such as client relations, portfolio management, contract negotiation and product development. She also joins the company’s executive management team, which includes Kimie Chenik, executive vice president, and Britta Anderson, director of insured services.

Bing started her career in the life settlement industry in 2003, working as a policy administrator at Portsmouth Financial Group, and later was appointed director of policy services. In 2011, she joined AVS Group, LLC and was appointed director of operations at AVS Underwriting in 2016.

Bing earned her undergraduate degree at Spelman College and her MBA from Georgia State University’s College of Business.
