BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) announced the winners of its 16th annual awards competition, recognizing achievement in web and mobile innovation and emerging applications produced and developed in New England. The awards were presented last night in front of a sold-out crowd of over 1,000 attendees at the Sheraton Boston.
“The MITX Awards celebrate creativity in technology and the web. This year’s winners show how these elements can work together to create innovative marketing strategies that move brands and build businesses across every industry,” said MITX president Debi Kleiman. “MITX is proud to recognize the game changing advances that are happening right here in our amazing community, and rippling across the nation. The work from our talented finalists and winners demonstrates just how the smarts, dedication and originality, thriving here in New England, can fuel our industry forward.”
The MITX Awards winners competed in 26 categories including vertical industries ranging from consumer goods to healthcare. The awards honor web sites, applications, and marketing campaigns that also leverage gaming, mobile, search, online video, and social media from companies active in the Internet business and marketing industries in Massachusetts and greater New England.
