Harvest Care Medical Receives DEA Registrations for All 10 West Virginia Dispensaries

Federal registrations mark a significant milestone for the West Virginia-based medical cannabis company and its Country Grown Cannabis dispensaries.

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Harvest Care Medical, LLC, operator of Country Grown Cannabis, today announced that all 10 of its state-licensed medical cannabis dispensaries across West Virginia have received federal registrations from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

The registrations are part of the DEA's initial issuance of federal registrations to qualifying medical marijuana dispensaries following the implementation of a new federal regulatory framework for certain state-licensed medical cannabis activities under Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act.

On October 30, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that the DEA had begun issuing federal registrations to more than 900 qualifying medical marijuana dispensaries across seven states, including West Virginia.
