Augmodo Appoints Capri Brixey as Head of Retail Sales To Scale AI Shelf Intelligence Across the Physical Workforce

Former Coca-Cola and The Partnering Group leader to drive Augmodo’s retail growth across grocery, mass, convenience and specialty

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Augmodo, the leader in wearable AI assistants for the physical workforce, today announced the appointment of Capri Brixey as Head of Retail Sales. Brixey will lead Augmodo's retail business, from strategy and revenue through customer success at scale, as the spatial AI company continues expanding beyond retail into suppliers, warehouses, factories, hospitals and more.

“Augmodo provides retailers with the real-time shelf visibility the industry has needed for decades, and our customers are translating that visibility into ROI every day."

Out-of-stocks and overstocks cost retailers an estimated $1.7 trillion a year, or 6.2% of global retail sales, according to IHL Group’s 2026 Inventory Distortion Study. Brixey will take retailers and their brand partners from pilot to network-wide rollout, driving higher sales, better on-shelf availability and lower operating costs.

“Augmodo provides retailers with the real-time shelf visibility the industry has needed for decades, and our customers are translating that visibility into ROI every day,” said Ross Finman, Founder and CEO of Augmodo. “Capri has sat on both sides of the retailer-supplier table, sold into both retail and warehouse channels, and scaled enterprise AI in this industry. She is the right leader to accelerate our expansion.”

"Retailers have never had a true picture of what's on their shelves, and when the insight does arrive, it's hours old and far from the person who can act on it," said Brixey. "Augmodo closes that gap. It captures shelf conditions as associates work and pairs every signal with a clear owner at the point of work. That's AI that makes frontline work more valuable, not more monitored."

Unlike manual audits or costly fixed hardware, Augmodo’s wearable Smartbadge passively scans shelves as associates work, giving a new hire the situational awareness of a two-year veteran.

Brixey joins Augmodo from The Partnering Group, where as Partner she advised CPG and retail executives on commercial strategy, organizational structure and AI-enabled transformation. Prior to that, she spent five years at The Coca-Cola Company, owning a $500M+ P&L, delivering years of double-digit revenue and profit growth. Earlier roles leading the Kroger business at Keurig Dr Pepper and pricing and category management at Delhaize America provided retailer-supplier table experience. She’s also built enterprise go-to-market functions for AI companies serving CPGs and retailers and advises AI organizations.

About Augmodo

Augmodo is the Physical AI company for the physical workforce, building AI assistants for people whose work happens off a screen. Its Smartbadge™, a lightweight wearable worn by frontline workers, passively captures the physical world as they move through their day, turning everyday movement into live 3D maps of store conditions. Augmodo’s SpatialView™ platform transforms that data into real-time inventory visibility, actionable insights, and task recommendations that help retailers and brands operate more efficiently. Built to scale without disrupting existing operations, Augmodo sees the work, not the worker. Today, Augmodo maps more than 186 million square feet every month across some of the world’s largest retailers and CPG brands. Learn more at augmodo.com.
