Light & Wonder Announces Matthieu Labbat as CEO of SciPlay

Experienced consumer technology and gaming executive to lead Light & Wonder’s social casino business effective November 4, 2026

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Light & Wonder, Inc. (ASX: LNW) (together with its subsidiaries, “Light & Wonder,” “L&W” or the “Company”) today announced that Matthieu Labbat has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SciPlay, the company’s social casino business, effective today, November 4, 2026.

Labbat has nearly 13 years of experience building and scaling mobile games, including 7.5 years in a series of leadership roles at Product Madness. He most recently served as SVP and head of Product Madness, with profit-and-loss responsibility for the mobile gaming business, which generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue. During his tenure, he helped grow the company from approximately 120 to more than 600 employees, while driving social casino bookings and revenue growth above category rates, increasing direct-to-consumer sales and improving margins. He also helped establish Product Madness as the No. 1 publisher in its category, with six titles among the top 30 apps, and expanded its product, data, technology and creative capabilities.

Earlier in his career, Labbat held product management and business-performance leadership roles at King, a leading interactive mobile and cross-platform video game developer. At King, he built and led a product and data science team and helped bring King’s first multiplayer game to market. Before King, he was previously a consultant at Analysys Mason, advising mobile operators, media companies and private equity funds on strategic reviews and due diligence.
