Equity Medical Acquires Majority Stake in Skylight Health Research, Expanding National Site Network Into New England and the Mountain West

Transaction adds two clinical trial sites in Burlington, MA and Colorado Springs, CO, and deepens Equity Medical's capabilities in cardiometabolic, infectious disease/vaccines and rheumatology/pain-related research

NEW YORK & BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Equity Medical, LLC (“Equity Medical”), a physician-owned, integrated national site network conducting high-performance Phase IA–IV clinical research, today announced it has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Skylight Health Research, Inc. (“Skylight”), a clinical research site network with locations in Burlington, Massachusetts and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition extends Equity Medical's site network beyond its existing footprint in New York, Kentucky, and Tennessee into New England and the Mountain West, and deepens the company's therapeutic reach into cardiometabolic, rheumatology and other pain-related conditions, and vaccine/infectious disease research — complementing Equity Medical's work in Phase I first-in-human, immunology, neurology, psychiatry, sleep medicine, and women's health. With the addition of Skylight's two sites, Equity Medical's platform now spans eight locations across five states.

The transaction underscores Equity Medical's strategy of pairing organic site growth with targeted acquisitions that add geographic reach and therapeutic diversification.
