CoVolt Power Names Souzi Weiland Chief People and Culture Officer

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CoVolt Power, Inc., an integrated engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) power platform, today announced the promotion of Souzi Weiland to chief people and culture officer, effective immediately. Weiland, previously senior vice president of people and culture, will continue to report to President and Chief Executive Officer Robert L. Tabb and serve as a member of CoVolt’s executive leadership team.

Weiland brings more than 20 years of human resources and organizational leadership experience across the energy value chain. Before joining CoVolt, she held senior human capital and talent leadership roles at Chesapeake Energy (now Expand Energy), Anadarko Petroleum and Enbridge, where she led enterprise talent strategy, leadership development and organizational design.

In her expanded role, Weiland will lead CoVolt's enterprise people strategy, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development and executive succession. Her mandate is to build the workforce and leadership capacity CoVolt needs to support its growth across both field and corporate operations.

"CoVolt's growth depends on having the right people, the right leaders and the right culture in place to deliver," said Tabb. "Souzi has the experience to build that capability at scale, and I am pleased to have her on the executive team in this role."

"I am honored to take on this role," said Weiland. "As CoVolt grows, our ability to attract, develop and retain strong people will determine how well we perform. I look forward to working with our leaders to build that foundation."
