Fifth Third Private Bank Wins Datos Insights 2026 Award for Portfolio Management Innovation

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fifth Third Private Bank, a division of Fifth Third Bancorp (NYSE: FITB), has received the 2026 Datos Insights Impact Award for Best Innovation in Portfolio Management. The recognition honors Fifth Third’s implementation of a unified investment platform designed to help its professionals deliver more personalized portfolio strategies, enhance investment oversight and respond more efficiently as clients’ financial needs evolve.

"To be recognized by Datos Insights is a meaningful honor and reflects our continued commitment to delivering innovative solutions that help clients achieve their goals with confidence," said Peter Sefzik, head of Wealth and Asset Management, Fifth Third Bank. "Innovation is most powerful when it improves outcomes for clients. This award recognizes the investments we've made to enhance portfolio management and create a more personalized experience that helps clients navigate increasingly complex financial decisions.”

Following a strategic implementation, the platform now supports more than 30,000 accounts and $60 billion in assets under management across Fifth Third’s targeted investment businesses. Its capabilities support customized portfolio management, automated implementation and rebalancing, enhanced oversight and a scalable foundation for future investment offerings.

"Our approach to portfolio management combines sophisticated technology with the experience, judgment and personal touch of our investment professionals," said Christopher Keller, managing director, National Private Bank, Fifth Third Bank. "As client needs evolve, we remain focused on developing scalable tools and capabilities that strengthen decision-making and deliver a more seamless wealth management experience. We are honored that Datos Insights recognized our efforts to raise the standard for innovation the industry.”

A panel of external experts judge the Datos Insights Impact Awards nominations based on the following criteria: level of innovation and competitive advantage, market needs assessment, impact on customer experience and customer operational efficiency, level of new revenue opportunity for the organization, impact on customer retention/new customer attraction, level of scalability across customer base and future roadmap.
