Brooks Running Delivers 12% Growth Through First Three Quarters of 2026
Performance innovation, global expansion, and a relentless focus on runners extend Brooks’ growth streak to 13 consecutive quarters
SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brooks Running delivered 12% revenue growth through the first three quarters of 2026 as demand for its performance footwear and apparel remained strong worldwide. Year to date through September, Brooks grew in all regions, increasing 9% each in the Americas and Asia-Pacific (APAC) and 24% in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Growth spanned Brooks’ portfolio, with footwear revenue up 11% and apparel increasing 18% year to date. The brand’s continued momentum across international markets, product categories, and the growing global running community led to Brooks’ 13th consecutive quarter of revenue growth.
“As we expand the Brooks brand globally, we're constantly pushing ourselves to rethink what's possible — in our products, in the experiences we create, and in the ambitions we pursue alongside runners,” said Dan Sheridan, CEO of Brooks Running.

The global performance running market continued to grow in Q3 2026. In the U.S., premium performance running footwear ($100+) drove double-digit gains.1 At U.S. national retail, Brooks Adrenaline GTS, Ghost, and Glycerin ranked among the top six performance running footwear franchises year to date.2 At U.S. specialty retail, Brooks maintained the No. 1 market position in Q3 as it held five of the top seven styles of performance running footwear.3 The brand also achieved No. 1 in Germany in adult performance running footwear across all price points, leading with the top two styles in the market.4 Runner engagement also remained strong. In a survey of global runners, 87% of respondents expect to increase or maintain their running event participation, and in the same survey, Brooks ranked No. 1 for both training and race day footwear for the third consecutive year.5
“As we expand the Brooks brand globally, we're constantly pushing ourselves to rethink what's possible — in our products, in the experiences we create, and in the ambitions we pursue alongside runners,” said Dan Sheridan, CEO of Brooks Running. “Our results through the first three quarters of 2026 reflect the momentum that comes from that mindset and the incredible work of our teams around the world.”
Project 222 Redefines What’s Possible
Josh Kerr, World Champion middle-distance runner and Brooks Beast, broke the 27-year-old mile world record at the London Diamond League. Four months before the race, Kerr called his shot with Project 222, publicly declaring his pursuit of a 222-second mile. In July, he delivered, beating the field and rewriting the record in 3:42.66.
Project 222 brought together Kerr’s ambition and athlete insight with Brooks’ performance innovation, resulting in custom race-day Hyperion Elite product engineered for the pursuit. Showcasing the power of partnership, preparation, and pushing the limits of performance, Project 222 accelerated Brooks' speed innovation and will inform future product development, driving forward the pace and future of innovation.
Innovation and Category Expansion Drive Momentum
Brooks’ Hyperion Elite franchise grew 68% year over year in Q3, reflecting growing demand for its performance racing platform and an ongoing commitment to athlete-led innovation. Trail remained a standout category for Brooks, growing 44% in Q3, driven by Ghost Trail and the 20th anniversary of the Cascadia franchise. Brooks also introduced Ghost Amp in Q3, an all-new platform featuring SpringRamp technology combined with DNA HYPE PEBA-blend cushioning that reimagines the running experience through a distinctive energy-return in the forefoot.
Brooks’ apparel momentum increased in Q3, up 20% year over year driven by strong adoption across new styles and continued demand for core favorites. Dash and Momentum Thermal collections led the category in Q3, increasing 603% and 325%, respectively, as runners embraced versatile performance apparel across seasons and conditions.
Led by the Adrenaline GTS 10 and the reintroduction of the Brooks Vanguard, the brand’s lifestyle category continued to gain traction, delivering triple-digit growth in Q3. Collaborations with AFEW and Alex Zono reimagined iconic Brooks styles across heritage and performance silhouettes and drew strong consumer demand, with the Alex Zono collection selling out within six hours in Korea. The brand also made its New York Fashion Week debut, partnering with Crosby Studios to preview Spring 2027 product. Designed by artist and founder Harry Nuriev, the space brought the brand’s history, culture, and community to life through a Brooks museum-inspired showroom.
Brooks Athletes Deliver Historic Performances Worldwide in Q3
Alongside his mile world record, Josh Kerr captured gold in the 1500m at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest. Fellow Brooks Beast Brandon Miller won the 800m at the London Diamond League and advanced to No. 5 on the U.S. all-time list. Laura Pellicoro finished second in the 1500m at the Italian Athletics Championships, while Allie Buchalski captured bronze in the 10,000m at the U.S. Track & Field Championships.
On the roads, Jessica McClain recorded a top 10 finish in the half marathon at the World Athletics Road Running Championships in Copenhagen with a personal-best 1:06:53, making her the 6th fastest American ever at the distance. In trail and mountain competition, four Brooks athletes finished inside the top 10 at UTMB CCC 100K, while Anna Gibson added a victory at the iconic Pikes Peak Ascent. Brooks athlete Brian Reynolds also became the first double amputee to complete the Leadville 100 Trail Race and the first double amputee to finish a 100-mile race anywhere. Joe “Stringbean” McConaughy further pushed the limits of endurance by setting a Fastest Known Time on the John Muir Trail, finishing the 223 miles in two days, 16 hours.
Brooks also continued investing in the future of the sport, signing collegiate standouts Sanu Jallow-Lockhart and Gary Martin and joining the Mother in Sport Collective (MISC) as a founding member. MISC is the first industry alliance of sports brands publicly pledging to standardize maternity protections. Members will help create and pilot a Maternal Equity Playbook that creates a new standard of care for maternal wellness in sport.
Brooks Deepens Its Connection to the Sport and Culture of Running
Brooks announced a series of global partnerships in Q3 to celebrate the role running plays in athletic performance. In September, the brand signed three professional athletes to its global athlete ambassador roster: NFL wide receiver Cooper Kupp, WNBA forward Maddy Westbeld, and Premier League footballer Oscar Bobb. While the athletes compete on different stages, Kupp, Westbeld, and Bobb share a common belief: running is foundational to their success.
In Q3, Brooks also became an Official Running Partner of the reigning NFL Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, the official footwear partner of Crystal Palace Football Club’s men’s and women’s first teams, and footwear partner for Team New Zealand athletes competing at the 2028 Olympic and Commonwealth Games. These partnerships demonstrate Brooks’ strategic evolution to deepen its connection to sports and celebrate running at the center of athletic performance.
Brooks also explored the intersection of movement, creativity, and culture through collaborations with musician Dermot Kennedy and Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields music festival. From community runs and immersive brand experiences to product storytelling designed to connect with new audiences, these partnerships extended Brooks’ reach into new spaces while celebrating the run as a powerful force for connection.
