Options Technology Announces Major Upgrade to its Global Layer 1 Switching Network with Integration to its AtlasVision and Trident Platforms

LONDON & TORONTO & HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Options Technology (Options), the leading provider of trading infrastructure solutions to capital markets firms, today announced major upgrades to its Global Layer 1 switching network, completing the integration of its ultra-low latency switching fabric with the firm’s AtlasVision monitoring tool and cutting-edge automation platform, Trident.

Options ultra-low latency (ULL) Layer 1 connectivity to key markets utilises a one hop architecture for both market data (multicast) and order entry (unicast), delivering some of the lowest network latencies available between major data centers and the world’s leading exchanges and trading venues. The adoption of Arista's Extended Operating System (EOS) completes the integration of this important technology into AtlasVision, and Trident, providing a single unified view over the entire Layer 1 fabric.

AtlasVision is Options’ real-time network monitoring and observability platform, providing deep, path-level visibility into every link and port across the global network. With the EOS integration, AtlasVision now ingests native telemetry directly from the switching fabric, enabling real-time measurement of latency, jitter, packet loss, multicast stream health and port-level performance for every client connection. This gives clients, and the Options operations team, immediate end-to-end visibility into the performance of their market data feeds and order entry paths, across all venues.

Trident is Options network automation platform, which manages configuration, provisioning and change management across the Layer 1 infrastructure. It enables standardized, policy-driven configuration and automated provisioning of new client connections, reducing the risk and turnaround of change windows while ensuring that configurations across the global network remain consistent and audit-ready.

Together, the EOS upgrade, AtlasVision and Trident transform the Layer 1 switching network into a fully observable, fully automated fabric, combining the speed of the one hop architecture with the resilience and transparency that today's most demanding trading clients expect.

Peter Jeanmonod, Chief Technology Officer at Options, commented, “This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing clients with the fastest exchange connectivity. Additionally, integrating Layer 1 with AtlasVision and Trident ensures greater transparency and visibility over our clients’ infrastructure, along with a more robust service and uptime.”

Danny Moore, President and CEO at Options, added, “Our Layer 1 network is the foundation of everything we deliver to clients, and we are continuing to invest in the technologies that keep it at the forefront of ultra-low latency connectivity. By completing this integration, we are giving our clients unprecedented visibility and control over the network paths that carry their market data and orders, while making the infrastructure more resilient and easier to operate at scale.”

This announcement follows a series of exciting product developments for the firm, including the availability of expanded market data feeds via AtlasFeed, the launch of Kimi K3 on its PrivateMind platform and release of AtlasInsight V5.
