To determine the Best Workplaces for Women, Great Place To Work (GPTW) analyzed the survey responses of nearly 640,000 women who work for Great Place To Work Certified™ companies that were eligible for the list. To be considered, a company must employ at least 50 women, have at least 20 percent of non-executive managers who are women, and at least one female C-suite executive.

“Congratulations to the companies recognized as Fortune Best Workplaces for Women,” says Fortune Executive Editor Ashley Lutz. “This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices and experiences of women themselves—and highlights the companies creating environments where they can grow, contribute, and do their best work.”

Company rankings are derived from 60 employee experience questions within the Great Place To Work Trust Index™ Survey. Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for women regardless of job role, race, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier (full methodology here).

“We are truly honored to be recognized for the fifth consecutive year as a Fortune Best Workplace for Women,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Anne-Marie Diouf. “At Symetra, we are committed to empowering women across our workforce by offering the benefits, resources, flexibility and career development opportunities they need to thrive. We're proud to foster a workplace where all employees feel valued and enabled to do their best work.”

“Companies that create great experiences for women are companies that create better experiences for every employee,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “When a company can show that anyone can build a career and do their life’s work, that company is more resilient. These companies are built for the future because they invest in the future of their people.”

Symetra has been Great Place to Work certified since 2022. In addition to its Fortune Best Workplaces for Women honors, the company’s recent workplace awards and recognition include Fortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance™ (2026, 2025, 2024, 2023) and Fortune Best Workplaces for Parents™ (2025, 2024).
