Search2light Solutions Embeds with Grimes Carbon Technologies to Accelerate Commercialization

Partnership Supports GCT’s Transition From Technology Validation Toward Commercial Scale

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Search2light Solutions today announced that it has joined Grimes Carbon Technologies (GCT), supporting the company as it advances its proprietary C-APR (caustic aqueous phase reforming) technology to produce affordable hydrogen, power and fuels from locally available carbon-rich feedstocks.

As energy security, resilience and supply-chain independence take on greater importance globally, Search2light believes GCT represents a compelling pathway to distributed hydrogen production using resources already available in local markets.

C-APR is a modular, distributed platform designed to produce hydrogen, power and fuels at the point of use. The technology is being advanced through a Washington State University-led ARPA-E program focused on grid-independent hydrogen production from raw bioethanol.

Search2light will work alongside GCT leadership on commercial strategy, capital formation, strategic partnerships, governance and operating execution as the company advances toward larger-scale validation and commercial deployment.
