VERDA Health Plan of Arizona Forms Partnership with Arizona Priority Care (AZPC) throughout Maricopa And Pima Counties

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verda Health Plan of Arizona is proud to announce a new partnership with Arizona Priority Care (AZPC). Arizona Priority Care (AZPC) is an independent physician network serving Medicare Advantage members across Arizona. Through its network of more than 6,000 healthcare providers, AZPC partners with health plans to connect members with local care while providing delegated healthcare services and operational support that help physicians focus on their patients. AZPC works alongside independent primary care physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to support coordinated care across its network. Its delegated model provides health plan partners with local network expertise and operational support while helping physicians navigate the complexities of delivering care within Medicare Advantage.

Verda Health Plan of Arizona is a Medicare Advantage Plan specifically designed for individuals 65 or older and focuses on Pan-Asian, Hispanic, and Arab Americans living in deprived counties throughout the United States. Verda offers two plans, Verda Noble Care, an MA plan with Open Enrollment from October 15 through December 7, and Verda Noble Chronic Care, a C-SNP plan available year-round.

Frank Vo, CEO of Verda Healthcare, was delighted with the partnership stating that, “Our members asked for more access to care options, and we are taking action. Through our partnership with AZPC, we are expanding our network by 750 primary care physicians and 4000 specialists, along with their hospital affiliations. This is an important step toward providing our senior members with more access and choice in Maricopa County today and Pima County effective January 1, 2027. We sincerely appreciate AZPC’s partnership and remain committed to ensuring our members have access to the quality care they deserve."

Terry Smith, Chief Operating Officer of Arizona Priority Care, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership stating, “We’re pleased to welcome Verda Health Plan of Arizona as a new health plan partner.
