Navitus MedicareRx (PDP) earns top federal rating for 11th consecutive year

Part D plan remains one of the nation’s highest-rated PBM-sponsored EGWP offerings

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the 11th consecutive year, Navitus MedicareRx has earned the nation’s highest rating among Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) offerings, receiving a 4 out of 5 rating in the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ 2027 Part D Star Ratings.

Each year, Medicare evaluates plans, assessing performance across medication adherence, clinical outcomes, member experience and customer service. Navitus MedicareRx, offered through Dean Health Insurance Inc., provides Part D prescription drug coverage for employer groups and retirees. It has consistently demonstrated strong performance with targeted clinical interventions and personal support for beneficiaries.

The plan’s consistently high Star Ratings also reflect Navitus' commitment to providing a positive member experience. Through dedicated Medicare service teams, proactive outreach and a member-first approach, Navitus ensures that beneficiaries receive the support they need to understand and manage their prescription drug benefit.

“Earning the highest rating for 11 years in a row doesn’t just happen,” Navitus President and CEO David Fields said. “It shows how committed our associates are to the retirees and Medicare beneficiaries we serve. While Star Ratings have become more rigorous, our focus remains helping members access the medications they need, supporting better health outcomes and delivering exceptional member service.”

He added: “We’re aligned by design with our members. Our goals are their goals. We make sure they receive clinical excellence as well as outstanding service and value when affordability and access in pharmacy benefits have never been more important.”
