Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Hunter Armstrong Joins Enhanced Athlete Roster

Olympic and World Champion retires from traditional swimming, to fully pursue the Enhanced Games and personalized Enhancement Protocol

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Enhanced (NYSE: ENHA), the elite sports competition and performance products company, today announced the addition of American swimmer Hunter Armstrong to its athlete roster.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist and former world record holder joins a growing group of internationally accomplished athletes representing Enhanced.

Olympic Champion Hunter Armstrong Joins Enhanced

Armstrong, 25, is a Dover, Ohio, native and two-time Olympian with three Olympic medals. He earned gold in the 4×100-meter medley relay at the Tokyo Olympics before adding gold in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay and silver in the 4×100-meter medley relay at the Paris Olympics.

An accomplished competitor across backstroke and freestyle, Armstrong won individual world titles in the 50-meter backstroke at the 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka and the 100-meter backstroke at the 2024 World Championships in Doha. He previously held the long-course 50-meter backstroke world record and competed collegiately at West Virginia University and Ohio State University.

Two Podium Finishes at the Inaugural Enhanced Games

Armstrong competed at the inaugural Enhanced Games on May 24, 2026, at Resorts World Las Vegas, winning the men’s 50-meter backstroke in 24.21 seconds and finishing second in the men’s 100-meter freestyle in 48.09 seconds.

His performances earned him $375,000 in combined prize money - $250,000 for his backstroke victory and $125,000 for his freestyle runner-up finish. Armstrong participated as a non-enhanced athlete and did not enter the Enhanced medical protocol. Officially joining the Enhanced Roster, Armstrong will be competing as an Enhanced athlete going forward.

“Hunter could chase Olympic gold in his home country at LA2028. He’s 25, he’s held a world record, and that’s the lifetime dream. He chose Enhanced. That’s a testament to our events, to how we take care of athletes, and to the career path we’ve built. We’re excited to welcome him to the team and support him in what he chases next.” - Enhanced CEO Maximilian Martin

“The Enhanced Games was one of the most exciting meets I’ve ever raced in, and I’m thrilled to officially join the roster. Enhanced is investing in athletes and giving us a stage that didn’t exist before. I’m looking forward to building on what we started in Las Vegas and chasing even bigger goals.” - Hunter Armstrong
