Life Science Connect Acquires BrevisRefero, Expanding Biopharma Outsourcing Capabilities with RFP>Navigator®

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Life Science Connect (LSC) today announced the acquisition of BrevisRefero Corporation, a Toronto-based biopharma consulting company and developer of RFP>Navigator^®, a digital platform designed to make CDMO sourcing and RFP management faster, more structured, and easier to evaluate.

Founded in 2017 by Terry Cochrane, BrevisRefero supports biopharma companies from early development through GMP manufacturing and clinical trials. After experiencing firsthand how time-consuming and complex it can be to identify capable CDMOs, publish an RFP, evaluate disparate proposals, and select the right outsourcing partner, Cochrane developed RFP>Navigator^® to create a structured environment for more efficient outsourcing.

RFP>Navigator^® gives biopharma Innovators a structured environment to manage RFPs and NDAs, engage prospective Providers, track proposals, and compare responses across pricing, capabilities, quality, regulatory experience, and other selection criteria. The platform is designed to reduce the time required to move from a long list of potential partners to a qualified shortlist from approximately six to eight months down to six to eight weeks. The platform also gives CDMOs the ability to evaluate potential projects quickly to focus their business development efforts specifically on Innovators they can help.

The acquisition extends LSC’s growing biopharma outsourcing capabilities. Through Outsourced Pharma, PharmaSource, CDMO Live, the CDMO Leadership Awards, and other specialized communities and programs, LSC already helps biopharma professionals identify potential partners, evaluate capabilities, and make more informed outsourcing decisions. RFP>Navigator^® creates a natural next step by helping Innovators move from researching potential partners to managing the outsourcing selection process.
