Texicare Launches TotalCare Plus, Offering Unlimited $0 Copay Visits to Primary Care, Mental Health and Specialists

New plan option is available to Texas business owners with effective dates as early as Jan. 1, 2027

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Texicare, the health affiliate of Texas Mutual, today introduced TotalCare Plus, a new health plan option that gives members unlimited $0 copay visits to primary care, mental health and specialist appointments. TotalCare Plus builds on Texicare's TotalCare plan and is available to Texas businesses with effective dates as early as Jan. 1, 2027.

TotalCare members receive four $0 visits a year in multiple care categories, giving Texicare members up to 24 no-copay visits a year. Starting in 2027, TotalCare Plus plans will feature unlimited visits to primary care, mental health and specialists—three types of care where ongoing, uninterrupted access is crucial to physical and mental wellness. A member working on their mental health with a counselor, managing a chronic condition with a specialist, or building a relationship with a primary care doctor can maintain regular appointments and focus on their holistic health.
