Texicare Expands Provider Network in San Antonio With CHRISTUS Health

San Antonio members gain access to 96 providers & 29 clinic locations across the Bexar and Comal counties

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Texicare, the health affiliate of Texas Mutual, has expanded its provider network in San Antonio through a new agreement with CHRISTUS Health, a faith-based, not-for-profit global health system, adding the organization’s 96 providers and 29 clinic locations across the Bexar and Comal counties to Texicare's in-network options for members, effective August 15th, 2026.

Texicare launched in San Antonio in October 2025 with a commitment to providing affordable, accessible health plans to local businesses and is now serving hundreds of members across the city. CHRISTUS Health broadens the care options available to Texicare members, connecting them to a range of services including primary care, emergency services, cardiology, orthopedics, neuroscience, pediatrics and women’s health.

• SimplicityCare plans feature straightforward copays and no deductibles.
• SavingsCare plans combine the opportunity for lower monthly premiums with a Health Savings Account (HSA) option for managing health care costs tax-free.
