Groundbreaking Litigation Boutique Enters New Chapter as Estes Ewing & Payne

Respected firm opens new downtown Dallas office with new name

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One of the first women-owned law firms in North Texas enters a new chapter in its nearly 20-year history with a new name and offices, while maintaining the same dedication to clients.

Effective immediately, the respected Dallas-based litigation boutique Estes Thorne Ewing & Payne, PLLC will become Estes Ewing & Payne, PLLC.

"When we opened this firm in 2008, it was with a clear vision of a firm that was dedicated to tenacious, highly personalized, collaborative advocacy for clients," said founding partner Dawn Estes. "That is a mindset and culture that will continue throughout the life of this firm."

The name change corresponds with the firm's move from its Turtle Creek roots to a stunning new office in the modernist One Arts Plaza. The firm will occupy 10,675 square feet on the ninth floor of 1722 Routh Street. Overlooking Flora Street, the office anchors the Dallas Arts District and neighbors the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Winspear Opera House and Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, and the Meyerson Symphony Center.

"Not only is our new office a bright and inviting space, but it is also in a vibrant area of downtown Dallas. There is an energy that matches our excitement for the next chapter of this firm," said name partner Abby Ewing.

"Our firm has always been centered on building relationships and solving problems for our business and family law clients. That core value endures," said name partner Carol Payne.

Lauded for its devotion to its clients' legal goals, the firm and its attorneys have earned prestigious professional recognitions from Chambers USA, Legal 500, Best Law Firms, The Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers, Lawdragon, the Dallas Business Journal, D CEO and D Magazine.
