Vultr Advances Agentic AI Infrastructure for the Enterprise with New Platform Upgrades

Updates aimed at data security and privacy, agent execution, and improved ease of use advance Vultr’s efforts in defining the standard for enterprise AI infrastructure

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vultr, the world’s largest privately-owned cloud infrastructure company, today announced a wave of new platform enhancements designed to support the rollout of agentic AI across the enterprise. As part of Vultr’s ongoing commitment to continual platform improvement, this batch of updates gives enterprises more agency over their agentic AI workloads while promoting increased cost efficiency and security and broadening access to open-source solutions.

“In the agentic era, enterprises need to move quickly from proof of concept to production, but legacy infrastructure has them locked into expensive, overly complex platforms that limit their capacity for innovation. At the same time, emerging neoclouds offer flexibility without the necessary guardrails,” said Kevin Cochrane, CMO of Vultr. “We need a new class of infrastructure that gives enterprises the best of both worlds, and Vultr has built it: a single platform delivering the performance quality, security, cost efficiency, and ease of use that will accelerate agentic transformation at scale.”

Vultr’s enterprise AI infrastructure offerings are designed for modern technology adoption lifecycles, wherein agentic AI tools and multi-agent systems must pass through multiple stakeholders and departments to be considered enterprise-ready. The platform’s composability, combined with access to a vast open ecosystem, promotes the ongoing innovation of AI applications that generate real business value. Optimized AI architectures, enhanced ease of use, and greater transparency allow IT leaders and CISOs to securely operationalize AI at scale. And all of this happens on a secure and compliant foundation, with global data center presence enabling maximum control over data residency, with data sovereignty options.

As part of Vultr’s commitment to supplying enterprise AI infrastructure, the following key platform upgrades are being released for Vultr customers:

  • Vultr Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) - A suite of upgrades to Vultr IAM simplify user and application authentication while retaining enterprise-grade security. Access to applications is now streamlined through Vultr’s OAuth provider, and added support for SCIM simplifies user access to Vultr through the enterprise identity provider. Vultr Audit Logs are now available, tracking user and agent activities and delivering insights into usage.
  • Vultr Clusters - A revamped interface will make it simpler and easier to provision clusters on-demand, so enterprises can continually optimize their infrastructure for maximally efficient AI workloads – without wasting compute capacity while waiting for manual configuration.
  • Vultr VX1™ bootable storage - Featuring latest-generation CPU processors and rapid provisioning, Vultr VX1 supports the growing demand for CPU-plus-GPU AI infrastructure powering agentic projects. Vultr VX1 instances can be booted either from local storage or Vultr Block Storage boot volumes. Existing block storage volumes will soon be clonable rapidly for fast instance cloning and replication, enabling customers to scale their infrastructure footprints quickly.
  • Vultr Cloud GPU bootable storage - Vultr Cloud GPU instances will also soon have a choice of booting from local storage or Vultr Block Storage boot volumes, accelerating cluster deployments from a validated image while retaining local storage for scratch space.
  • Vultr Cloud VPNs - The new Vultr Cloud VPN will offer a robust and affordable way for enterprises to securely connect their AI workloads running on Vultr to other data centers or client devices over the public internet.
  • Vultr App for Slack - Enterprises will be able to create, respond to, and update Vultr Support tickets directly from their Slack workspace, allowing them to get assistance fast without leaving their primary collaboration space.
  • Vultr Marketplace - Vultr is enhancing its enterprise-ready open ecosystem with new deployment upgrades and broader access to open source options, enabling enterprises to increase the affordability and flexibility of their AI workloads.

“When it comes to designing the optimal enterprise AI infrastructure for each organization, we believe in freedom, flexibility, and choice. We also understand that it takes a certain sturdiness to deliver enterprise scale and capacity,” added Cochrane. “Whether you’re a CISO, a CIO, a CTO, a head of platform engineering, or even just a single developer on the team, we can give you the confidence that your workloads are secure, optimized, and fully within your control, without you having to build everything from the ground up or get locked into a hyperscaler.”

The Vultr cloud platform is equipped with the latest generation NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, scalable cloud compute powered by the latest data center CPU processors, high-speed networking, powerful storage solutions, managed Kubernetes, managed databases, and more essential infrastructure and software that enterprises can customize to their specific needs.
