EACR Inc. Reaffirms Commitment to Sustainable Electronics Recycling After 25 Years

LAKEWOOD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EACR Inc., a Lakewood-based electronics recycling company with more than 25 years of experience, is reaffirming its commitment to helping businesses, schools, municipalities, and other organizations responsibly manage end-of-life electronics through its zero-landfill policy and recycling services.

As technology advances and organizations replace aging equipment, responsible electronics disposal remains an important environmental concern. According to the Global E-waste Monitor 2024, the world generated 62 million metric tonnes of electronic waste in 2022.

“At EACR, sustainability has never been an afterthought. It has been at the center of what we do for more than 25 years,” said AJ Boufarah, a representative of EACR Inc. “Technology will continue to change, but the responsibility to properly manage the equipment being replaced does not. Our goal is to make electronics recycling straightforward for the organizations and communities we serve.”

EACR Inc.’s zero-landfill policy focuses on keeping accepted electronics and their materials in appropriate recycling and reuse streams rather than sending them to traditional disposal.

The company handles computers, laptops, servers, monitors, mobile devices, networking equipment, and other electronics. Its services also include solar panel recycling, supporting organizations replacing or decommissioning photovoltaic equipment.

To accommodate projects of different sizes, EACR Inc. offers scheduled pickups, e-waste containers, collection programs, and community recycling events. The company also provides data destruction services for organizations retiring devices that may contain sensitive information.

After more than 25 years, EACR Inc. remains focused on practical recycling options that help organizations reduce electronic waste and manage technology responsibly.
