"Innovation Days is about bringing together leaders from different sectors to have practical conversations about the choices we need to make today to build a more competitive, resilient and prosperous Canada.”

The series will feature leading voices from across Canada's energy, business and public policy communities, including Emily Heitman, President of Schneider Electric Canada; economist Todd Hirsch; Katherine Henderson, President and CEO of Hockey Canada; and leaders from organizations including Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, WSP, Pomerleau, Torngat Metals and the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.

Attendees will explore topics including:

  • Canada's path to economic competitiveness in an increasingly electrified world
  • The impact of AI on energy demand and infrastructure
  • Grid modernization and energy resilience
  • The future of sustainable buildings and communities
  • How organizations can accelerate digital transformation while reducing energy use

Additionally, an interactive innovation hub will demonstrate how energy technology is being applied today across buildings, infrastructure, data centres and industrial environments.
