AM Best to Speak at the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Run-Off Companies’ NJ 2026 Legacy Transactions & Networking Forum

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will speak at the at the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Run-Off Companies’ (AIRROC) NJ 2026 Legacy Transactions & Networking Forum, taking place Oct. 19–20, 2026, in Jersey City, NJ.

Dan Hofmeister, associate director, AM Best, will speak in the opening general session on Monday, Oct. 19, at 9:45am during which he will discuss how runoff transactions have emerged as an important tool for (re)insurers as well as how the runoff industry has evolved alongside shifting market conditions. Hofmeister joined AM Best in 2014 and is a member of its global reinsurance and insurance-linked securities ratings division. He is responsible for a rating portfolio consisting of global reinsurers, captives and U.S. domestic writers.

AIRROC is a U.S. nonprofit focused on the legacy/runoff sector of the insurance and reinsurance industries. The forum will take place at the Westin Jersey City, Newport.
