S&K Aerospace Partners with SalesPatriot to Modernize MRO and PROS 7 Operations

AI and automation will improve sourcing, supplier engagement, pricing, reporting and requisition management across S&K’s aerospace sustainment business

ST. IGNATIUS, Mont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--S&K Aerospace, LLC (SKA) today announced a partnership with SalesPatriot to deploy artificial intelligence and workflow automation across its aerospace maintenance, repair, supply and sustainment operations, including the recently awarded U.S. Air Force Parts and Repair Ordering System 7 (PROS 7) contract.

The partnership will improve how S&K manages thousands of supply and repair requirements supporting U.S. military and international customers. SalesPatriot will be deployed across S&K’s maintenance, repair and overhaul operations and incorporated into the PROS 7 operating environment.

S&K plans to use SalesPatriot to improve sourcing and supplier engagement, increase vendor response, reduce avoidable cancellations, streamline pricing documentation, automate reporting and identify aging requirements earlier.

S&K Aerospace received award notification in September 2026 for the $4.3 billion PROS 7 single-award IDIQ contract. PROS provides supply, repair and logistics support for Foreign Military Sales customers, including non-standard and difficult-to-support requirements.

“From an operations standpoint, the real value is being able to see problems sooner and spend less time working around disconnected processes,” said Mike Delaney, Vice President of Operations for S&K Aerospace. “If we can identify sourcing problems earlier, get better information to suppliers, reduce manual follow-up and know which requirements are starting to get into trouble, we have a much better chance of preventing delays and cancellations. That directly improves performance for our customers.”

SalesPatriot will automate activities throughout the supply and repair lifecycle, including source research, supplier identification, pricing analysis, quote comparison, vendor follow-up, documentation, reporting and management dashboards.

“This is about using technology to help us scale what S&K already does well,” said Tim Horne, Senior Vice President of Business Development for S&K Aerospace. “We support a large and growing portfolio of requirements across U.S. and international customers, and there is significant opportunity in connecting that activity more effectively. Better data, faster sourcing and greater visibility should help us respond to more opportunities, bring more of S&K’s capabilities to our customers and continue growing the business without adding unnecessary administrative complexity.”

Reducing avoidable cancellations is a major focus under PROS 7. S&K will use improved data and automation to better understand why requirements do not result in awards, including supplier no-bids, unavailable sources, slow responses, quote expiration and pricing issues.

S&K also plans to strengthen engagement with its network of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), repair facilities, distributors and specialized suppliers.

“One of our biggest opportunities is to use technology to make better use of the relationships we already have with OEMs, repair facilities and key suppliers,” said Ran Aviles, Vice President of Sales Development for S&K Aerospace. “We do a tremendous amount of business with many of these companies across multiple S&K programs. SalesPatriot should help us connect those opportunities, improve how we engage with our suppliers and make better use of our overall buying power. It should also free our people to spend more time developing sources, strengthening OEM relationships and turning more opportunities into successful business.”

As part of the PROS 7 transition, S&K will work directly with key suppliers to understand quoting challenges and identify ways to improve the sourcing process.

SalesPatriot will operate alongside S&K’s existing company and Government systems rather than replacing required systems of record. The technology will provide an additional workflow and automation layer to reduce repetitive work and improve visibility and decision-making.

S&K will measure results through increased sourcing and bidding activity, stronger supplier response rates, shorter processing cycles, fewer avoidable cancellations, improved award and fill rates, faster documentation and better management visibility. Lessons learned from the MRO and PROS 7 implementations will help identify additional opportunities across S&K’s Aerospace Business Unit.
