Lynn University Enters 2026–27 with Strong Enrollment Momentum, Increased Student Engagement and National Recognition
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lynn University began the 2026–27 academic year with strong enrollment, increased student engagement and continued recognition in national and state rankings.
This fall, Lynn welcomed more than 3,500 students representing approximately 45 states and 122 countries. International students comprise about 14% of enrollment, reflecting Lynn’s vibrant global community.

That engagement is already evident across campus. During Fall Orientation, Lynn’s Center for Student Involvement (CSI) reported a 9% increase in student interactions, with attendance rising across every major orientation program compared with last year.
Lynn also welcomed 143 new student-athletes, a 34% increase over last year, bringing the total number of Fighting Knights student-athletes to 419. The NCAA Division II program enters the year with 27 national championships and 54 Sunshine State Conference championships.
Local and national recognition
Lynn’s growing reputation continues to earn national and state recognition. In the 2027 U.S. News & World Report rankings, Lynn ranked No. 7 among Florida institutions in the Regional Universities South category and No. 5 among the state’s Top Private Schools. The university also earned recognition for veterans, value and social mobility.
Niche rankings place Lynn among the nation’s Top 20 Most Diverse Colleges (#13) and Top 20 for Best College Food (#12). In Florida, Lynn ranks No. 1 for Most Diverse Colleges, No. 2 for Best College Food and among the Top 10 for Best College Campuses, Best College Athletics and Best College Dorms.
