Acceleronix and Valid Bring Locally Hosted SGP.32 eSIM Management to Brazil
Announced at Futurecom 2026, the collaboration supports direct and indirect eSIM profile downloads and interoperability across IPA.e and IPA.d implementations for Brazilian IoT deployments.
SÃO PAULO, Brazil--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acceleronix, an IoT connectivity and solution provider, and Valid, a global provider of trusted connectivity solutions, today announced a collaboration to bring GSMA SGP.32 eSIM management to the Brazilian IoT market. The solution combines an eSIM IoT Remote Manager (eIM) hosted in Brazil and deployed by Acceleronix with joint interoperability testing with Valid, supporting both direct and indirect profile downloads.

The two companies have tested their implementations across both IoT Profile Assistant (IPA) models: IPA.e, hosted on the eUICC, and IPA.d, hosted on the device. This interoperability gives customers greater flexibility in selecting device architectures and eSIM connectivity solutions according to their deployment requirements.
Direct and indirect downloads provide different paths for delivering eSIM profiles. In a direct download, the IoT Profile Assistant communicates directly with the profile server. In an indirect download, the eIM acts as an intermediary between the device and the profile server. These options support different device connectivity capabilities, with applications ranging from POS terminals and trackers to NB-IoT meters.
Artur Couto, Head of Sales LATAM at Acceleronix, said: "Brazilian IoT projects need profile management that works with the devices and networks they actually use. Hosting the eIM in Brazil, and bringing direct and indirect downloads together in one platform, gives customers a foundation for deploying everything from POS terminals and trackers to large metering fleets. The interoperability work with Valid supports that foundation across different device architectures."
For Valid, the collaboration helps customers adopt secure eSIM technology across different IoT device architectures. "SGP.32 only delivers on its promise if it works across different device designs and deployment models," said Rebecca Crowe, VP IoT Business Development, Valid. "By combining our SGP.32 capabilities with Acceleronix’s locally hosted eIM and validating interoperability across IPA.e and IPA.d architectures, we are helping customers adopt secure eSIM technology across a range of Brazilian IoT applications."
The collaboration highlights Acceleronix and Valid’s commitment to supporting secure and interoperable eSIM connectivity for IoT deployments in Brazil.
