Western Union and Publix Extend Relationship to Serve Growing Communities Across the Southeast

DENVER & LAKELAND, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Western Union (NYSE: WU) and Publix Super Markets today announced a renewed agreement that extends their long-standing relationship and ensures customers will continue to have access to Western Union money transfer, money order, and bill payment services at Publix locations across the Southeast.

The renewal builds on a relationship that has spanned more than two decades, providing consumers with convenient access to essential financial services as part of their everyday shopping experience.

Under the agreement, customers will continue to have access to Western Union's portfolio of services at Publix locations, including domestic and international money transfers, bill payment services, and Western Union money orders. These services complement Publix's commitment to convenience and customer service by enabling customers to address everyday financial needs while shopping at their neighborhood store.

The agreement also supports the continued growth of the relationship as Publix expands its footprint, including Kentucky, bringing Western Union services to even more communities across the region.
