Arteaga was selected following an evaluation of several potential locations. Key factors in the decision included ml&s Group’s established manufacturing presence in the region, the area’s strong industrial and innovation ecosystem, and the strong support of the local government.

The new operation is expected to create hundreds of highly skilled jobs. A facility has already been leased in Parque Industrial Server and is currently being prepared for the installation of advanced manufacturing equipment over the coming months.

The collaboration brings together CIG’s expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies, manufacturing engineering, automation, and high-volume production, ml&s Group’s established manufacturing infrastructure and operational experience in Mexico, and CPT’s deep optical R&D know-how, product development expertise, and experience in advanced optical architectures.

By combining these complementary strengths, the companies aim to establish a highly capable North American manufacturing platform for next-generation optical modules and NPO solutions, supporting growing customer demand for advanced optical connectivity.
