Althea US Inc. Announces Rebrand to Ally Technical, Receives Growth Investment from FFL Partners

New Brand Reflects Company’s Strategic Positioning and Underscores Commitment to Healthcare Technology Management and Highest Quality Customer Service

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Althea US Inc., a leading provider of solutions, service and training for all major medical technology equipment manufacturers and modalities, today announced that it has rebranded as Ally Technical (“the Company”) and received an investment from FFL Partners (“FFL”), a private equity firm focused on growth investments. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“Our rebranding to Ally Technical is an exciting new chapter in our history, reflecting our strategic positioning as a newly independent, industry-leading company that provides a unique integrated services and parts approach to meeting our customers’ comprehensive healthcare technology management challenges, so that they can focus on providing better healthcare for their patients,” said Dan Siler, CEO of Ally Technical. “We’re thrilled to partner with FFL, a firm known for its depth of healthcare business-building experience that will enable us to pursue new growth opportunities, both organically and through strategic M&A. As Ally Technical, our highly skilled engineers are still committed to delivering the same excellent, customer-minded approach that our customers have come to expect.”

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Ally Technical combines nationwide field service with extensive in-house technical capabilities, including system and parts testing, board-level repair, depot repair, replacement parts, and technical training. Built on a proven legacy of expertise in contrast injectors, Ally Technical is applying that same technical knowledge, infrastructure, and service-driven approach to a broader range of medical devices.

“Healthcare providers are increasingly turning to experienced independent service organizations (“ISOs”) for mission-critical maintenance, service and parts support to improve cost efficiency. As a preferred servicing partner, Ally Technical is well positioned to capitalize on this trend as more healthcare organizations partner with ISOs,” said Karen Winterhof, Partner at FFL. “Alongside CEO Dan Siler and his talented team, we have identified meaningful growth opportunities where FFL can help Ally Technical scale organically and through acquisitions, expand into new modalities, and enter high-growth markets with significant white space.”

Ally Technical’s best-in class engineers provide full-service, on-site support for a large install base of aging medical devices, including high quality medical parts, maintenance, and repairs of all major manufacturers nationwide. Ally also provides capital sales and installation, training, and technical support across various medical devices.

FFL’s investment in Ally Technical is another successful outcome from the firm’s proprietary Sector Exploration and Expertise Development (“SEED”) sourcing and value creation strategy.
