Federal Pacific Welcomes New CEO

BRISTOL, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Federal Pacific is excited to welcome Rohan Kelkar to the organization as its new CEO, in line with the company’s planned succession strategy. Current CEO, Howard Broadfoot, will remain with the company as Senior Advisor and Board Member and support Rohan through the transition.

Rohan comes to Federal Pacific with 28 years of experience in the electrical industry spanning power generation, utility transmission, and last mile distribution. Most recently, he served as EVP for the Utility, Industrial and Services business at Southwire where he partnered with some of the largest utility, data center and large industrial end users and channel partners to support their extended growth needs. Prior to his time at Southwire, Kelkar was with Schneider Electric, where he served as EVP, Power Products leading the global low voltage electrical distribution business to double digit growth through the pandemic. Before that he worked for ABB and General Electric, serving in various executive roles in strategy, operations, product development, and business P&L leadership. His responsibility will include all affiliate brands – Line Power, Powercon, and Mirus International. He will join Federal Pacific’s Board of Directors.
