Populus Health Technologies Announces New CRO

Populus SVP, Sales Joe Catalano promoted to serve as first CRO in company history

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Populus Health Technologies, a virtual care media and technology company, today announced the appointment of a new Chief Revenue Officer, Joe Catalano. As part of his new role, Catalano is responsible for planning and executing Populus’ sales and revenue strategy.

Catalano served as Populus’ Senior Vice President of Sales where he doubled the sales team and led them in overall sales. Now as the company’s first CRO, Catalano’s role will expand to include overall sales and revenue operations while driving the next level of strategic revenue growth. This includes enhancing and increasing both current and future pharma and agency partnerships.

Catalano will apply particular focus to growing the Virtual Care platform and ecosystem, one of the fastest-growing offerings in the Populus suite.

Before his work at Populus, Catalano held positions as a Vice President of Sales for Everyday Health Inc. and was a Director of Enterprise Solutions at WebMD/Medscape. Catalano received his education at Southern Connecticut State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in anatomy and physiology.
