To create further awareness, JECT is hosting an exclusive panel on October 14 in New York City, for a conversation centered on women's health and wellness. The discussion will be moderated by JECT provider and breast cancer survivor Barret Bestard, DNP, alongside featured panelists Gabby Garritano, Founder and CEO of JECT, Danielle Duboise, Co-Founder of Sakara Life, Dr. Lisa Schneider, board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with Rowe Plastic Surgery and Silver Linings, and Dr. Fahimeh Sasan, board-certified OB/GYN and Founding Physician and Chief Innovation Officer at Kindbody. The panel of experts will discuss proactive health management, highlighting how medical aesthetics, hormonal health, and specialized care intersect to champion women's overall well-being.

This is a cause that’s close to the heart of JECT founder Gabby Garritano who founded the brand in 2019 to be both elevated and accessible, and to deliver a best-in-class patient experience. “My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in college,” said Gabby. “While I was studying medicine, my mother’s plastic surgeon invited me to work with her, which ignited a deep interest in pursuing medical aesthetics to empower women to look and feel their best. This month is about creating awareness and giving back.”

“Being part of JECT's Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative means so much to me as both a JECT provider and breast cancer survivor,” said Barret Bestard, DNP. “I see every day how confidence is tied to how we feel in our bodies, and I'm grateful to work somewhere that uses its platform to support women and encourage early detection. Getting to share this experience with our community is a reminder of why I do what I do.”
