ReSpark Acquires ScrapRight, Extending the Industry's Most Complete Recycling Platform

Acquisition adds roughly 350 customers and more than 500 yard locations to ReSpark, the company’s third combination since April 2026

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ReSpark, the definitive technology platform for the metal recycling industry, today announced it has completed its acquisition of ScrapRight, the scrap yard management software provider founded by industry veteran Shon Duty. ScrapRight has served recyclers for more than 20 years and today supports roughly 350 customers across more than 500 locations with software built for the realities of daily scrap operations.

The acquisition follows the April 2026 combination of GreenSpark and ReMatter that formed ReSpark, and the July 2026 acquisition of UptimePM, now ReSparkPM. With ScrapRight, ReSpark serves roughly 1,000 customers across more than 1,700 locations globally.

ScrapRight joins a platform that already spans buying, selling, and pricing material, yard operations, logistics, finance and accounting, compliance, equipment maintenance, and AI-powered automation. The two decades of workflows and industry knowledge built into ScrapRight now sit behind the same mission ReSpark is pursuing: one connected system for how a recycling business actually runs, from the scale house to the back office.
