Leslie Kurtz Named to Dual Role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Josh Berman Expands Responsibilities, Becoming Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jackson Healthcare^®, the trusted authority in healthcare talent and workforce solutions, today announced the promotions of Leslie Kurtz and Josh Berman. Kurtz, who has been the organization’s chief financial officer (CFO) since 2018, now carries the dual titles of chief operating officer (COO) and CFO. Berman’s responsibilities also have expanded into the new role of senior vice president of strategic initiatives.

In her positions, Kurtz directs financial strategy and stewardship and leads the executive leadership team of the Jackson Healthcare parent company – including the corporate functions of accounting and finance, community impact, enterprise program management, human resources, information technology, property management and risk management – with a focus on driving cross-functional alignment, building scalable infrastructure, and capitalizing on synergies to support the organization’s family of companies. Before Jackson Healthcare, Kurtz was CFO at MedQuest Associates and held leadership positions with Arthur Andersen, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Irwin & Browning and Right Management.

In his evolved role, Berman leads investments, mergers and acquisitions, new partnerships and other high impact initiatives for the organization, deeply partnering with the Jackson Healthcare family of companies. Prior to joining the organization, Berman built and grew business units in the technology, consumer services and finance industries, working with organizations that include Microsoft Research, LVMH and Man Group plc.
