Hilton Grand Vacations Opens Ka Haku, a Hilton Club in Waikiki

Hawaii’s first Hilton Club property debuts with 205 suites, creates nearly 200 new hospitality jobs and includes a $1 million investment in Kuhio Beach Park

HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. (NYSE: HGV), the premier vacation ownership and experiences company, today opened Ka Haku, a Hilton Club. Located in the heart of Waikiki, Ka Haku is the company’s 14th resort in the state and the first Hilton Club-branded property in Hawaii, a distinction reserved for a boutique, highly curated ownership experience. The property offers 205 studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with ocean, mountain and city views, along with an arrival and departure lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, pool and bar.

“Bringing the Hilton Club brand to Hawaii for the first time is a defining moment for us,” said Mark Wang, CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations. “It’s the most exclusive experience in our portfolio, and Ka Haku honors that standard in every detail. As we celebrate 25 years in Hawaii, this milestone underscores our enduring commitment to Waikiki, which we intend to sustain for the long term through investment in this community, its culture and its people.”

Designed around a philosophy of quiet luxury, Ka Haku blends refined modern architecture with cultural storytelling inspired by Princess Kaiulani and the natural beauty of Hawaii. Reflecting a commitment to sustainability, Ka Haku integrates energy-efficient building systems, water conservation measures, sustainable site features and environmentally responsible materials that support long-term environmental performance and resident well-being. The resort is home to Waikiki’s first Japanese-style bathhouse with a large communal bath, sauna, and cold bath and also offers an exclusive owners lounge for Ka Haku owners. Located just steps from the center of Waikiki, these amenities help distinguish the property from HGV’s other Hawaii resorts.

“Ka Haku’s opening is a moment our entire team has been building toward, and there’s real pride in the experience we will share as we welcome members and guests to the resort,” said Robert Ishihara, general manager, Ka Haku, a Hilton Club. “From the moment members and guests arrive, our goal is to make every visit feel like coming home, creating meaningful experiences that inspire their story and stay with them long after they leave.”

Beyond the experience it offers travelers, Ka Haku’s economic impact to Hawaii includes the creation of nearly 200 full-time hospitality roles and more than 400 local jobs during construction, part of the nearly 1,800 jobs HGV supports statewide.

In coordination with the City and County of Honolulu, the company donated $1 million toward the revitalization of Kuhio Beach Park — one of Waikiki’s most beloved and heavily used public spaces — funding improvements to safety, maintenance and everyday enjoyment for residents and visitors alike.

The Kuhio Beach Park donation is one part of a broader effort. Through HGV Serves, the company’s corporate social responsibility program, HGV has contributed more than $200,000 to Hawaii nonprofit organizations this year alone. Team members have contributed more than 1,600 volunteer hours in support of more than 30 nonprofits statewide.
