GLAM4GOOD Marks a Decade of Impact at the High School of Fashion Industries Reaching More Than 3,000 Students with More Than $3 Million in Resources

Social Impact Master Class is the latest initiative in a partnership that has brought essential resources, vision care, mentorship, and career opportunities to HSFI students since 2016.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For nearly a decade, GLAM4GOOD and the High School of Fashion Industries (HSFI) have shared a powerful belief: when young people feel seen, supported and confident, they are empowered to see what is possible.

GLAM4GOOD has helped students choose how they show up, express who they are, and imagine their futures.

Since 2016, GLAM4GOOD has provided over $3 million in donated products, program investments, and in-kind services, reaching more than 3,000 HSFI students with clothing, beauty products, school essentials, mentorship, eyewear and eye care, career experiences, and opportunities to build confidence.

Through eight major initiatives, campus activations, emergency support, social impact mentorship, and its signature SHOPPINGSPREE4FREE experiences, GLAM4GOOD has helped students choose how they show up, express who they are, and imagine their futures.

Most recently, in 2026, GLAM4GOOD launched its first-ever Social Impact Master Class at the High School of Fashion Industries, giving 50 student leaders the tools to turn purpose into action. Students then planned and produced their own GLAM4GOOD pop-up for their school community, fueled by a $400,000 donation of new clothing.

“HSFI embodies GLAM4GOOD beliefs and founding principles: creativity, resilience, purpose and the extraordinary potential of young people,” said Mary Alice Stephenson, Founder and CEO of GLAM4GOOD. “For a decade, we’ve had the privilege of standing beside these remarkable students and their teachers, not simply by providing clothing and essentials, but by helping remove barriers, celebrate individuality, and create opportunities for young people to gain self-esteem and give back to their communities. When a student can look in the mirror and see possibility, possibility appears everywhere. Every young person deserves to feel confident, valued, and equipped to pursue their dreams.”

Daryl Blank, Principal of the High School of Fashion Industries, adds, “From the moment Mary Alice first spoke at an HSFI graduation more than a decade ago, she and the GLAM4GOOD team have believed deeply in our students. Through their generosity and commitment, they have touched countless students, teachers and families—meeting critical needs, building confidence and creating opportunity. GLAM4GOOD has truly become part of the fabric of HSFI.”

GLAM4GOOD uses fashion to build confidence, encourage self-expression and create opportunity. Through programs including VISIONQUEST, students have connected with fashion, media, and creative-industry leaders, gaining inspiration and real-world insight as they prepare to build their careers.

GLAM4GOOD’s SHOPPINGSPREE4FREE pop-ups have transformed the High School of Fashion Industries into student-centered shopping experiences where young people can select clothing, accessories, beauty products and essentials that reflect their individual identities and needs. Because dignity isn’t simply about receiving something. It’s about having a choice, feeling confident and knowing you matter.

For High School of Fashion Industries alumna Deannelys Corcino, now a Designer and Product Developer, the impact has lasted well beyond graduation.

Deannelys remarks, “GLAM4GOOD gave us the chance to walk into the world as the people we wanted to be—not defined by our circumstances. That confidence stayed with me long after graduation. The GLAM4GOOD team didn’t just give us clothing; they believed in us, mentored us, and showed us what was possible. Today, staying connected and supporting their mission is one of the most meaningful ways I can give back.” She continues, “Clothes don’t define who you are, but everyone deserves to look in the mirror and feel confident, beautiful, and worthy. GLAM4GOOD gave so many of us that opportunity.”
