Centuri Appoints Experienced Industry Executive Michael Christy as EVP, Group Development Officer
Role focuses on strategic growth, leads Centuri’s non-union electric businesses
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centuri Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CTRI) (“Centuri” or the "Company"), a leading North American utility and energy infrastructure services company, today announced the appointment of Michael Christy as Executive Vice President, Group Development Officer.
In this new role, Mr. Christy will drive strategy execution by quantifying end market opportunities and aligning organizational capabilities to meet customer demands. He will be accountable for strategy development, groupwide sales and business development processes, and play a central role in building and maintaining customer relationships and end market positioning. Mr. Christy will focus on driving organic growth by maximizing company-wide capabilities and will additionally identify opportunities for tuck-in acquisitions to build further capability as identified in the Company’s Vision One Centuri strategy. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Christy will also lead Centuri’s non-union electric businesses.
Mr. Christy joins Centuri most recently from Pike Enterprises, where he served as EVP, Strategy and President, Pike Electric West and prior to that as CEO of Signal Energy (now CoVolt Power). His experience includes more than 20 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Quanta, culminating in the role of EVP at InfraSource Inc., as well as the Utilities Segment President at Primoris and VP, Operations at Dycom Industries. Throughout his career, Michael has built a reputation as a go-to voice on industry strategy and innovation, and as a leader who develops the people around him.

Michael Christy is a transformational executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across the infrastructure, energy, and renewables sectors. Known for pairing strategic vision with operational discipline, he has built a career leading enterprise-scale organizations, consistently delivering profitable, customer-focused results while developing high-performing teams.
Mr. Christy began his career at Peter Kiewit and Sons. He went on to hold senior leadership roles at InfraSource, a Quanta Services company, rising to Executive Vice President over more than a decade, and later served as Vice President of Operations at Dycom Industries, where he directed strategy across 40 subsidiaries and $4 billion in annual revenue.
As Segment President for Primoris Services Corporation’s Utilities Segment, Mr. Christy grew the segment's P&L from $500 million to more than $2 billion and led the company's largest acquisition and subsequent integration. He then joined Signal Energy Holdings as Chief Operating Officer, leading a comprehensive operational turnaround before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer, where he guided the company through capital raises and repositioned it for sustained growth. He most recently served as EVP of Strategy for Pike Enterprises and President of Pike Electric West, LLC., where he helped stand up a new operating region and advanced the company's growth and scope.
