SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altera, the world’s largest pure-play FPGA solutions provider, today announced that Nishit Sahay has joined the company as Chief Information Officer. In this role, Sahay will lead Altera’s global technology strategy, with a focus on strengthening cybersecurity, expanding the use of data, and advancing enterprise AI. He will also oversee the company’s IT organization, reinforcing the secure, scalable technology foundation that supports Altera’s long-term growth.

As CIO, Nishit Sahay brings extensive experience in digital transformation and technology integration to Altera.

Sahay joins Altera from Marvell Technology, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In that role, he led the company’s corporate IT organization, Data Office and Enterprise AI initiatives. His experience spans large-scale digital transformation, business process optimization and technology integration. Throughout his career, he has helped major companies modernize how they operate and align technology investments with business priorities.
