Medcor to Join the APM Group, Expanding Occupational Health Services Across North America

MCHENRY, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Medcor, a leading provider of onsite and mobile occupational health services across the United States and Canada, today announced it has entered into an agreement to join the APM Group, subject to Federal Trade Commission approval. Medcor and APM, an international health and human services organization operating in 11 countries, will work together to expand access for employers and their employees to high-quality, independent, advocacy-based occupational health care across North America.

Since 1984, Medcor has built its reputation around a single idea: occupational health advocacy with no payer or provider conflicts of interest. Every Medcor advocate, whether onsite, mobile or on the phone, works for the patient first, not for an insurer or an employer’s bottom line. That model has made Medcor one of the largest occupational health providers in North America, and it is the foundation this next chapter is building on.

For Medcor’s clients and advocates, day-to-day operations continue unchanged. Medcor and APM will look for opportunities to strengthen and broaden the already high-quality services they offer customers, with additional details to follow.
